In February 1973, Romuald represented France with “Laisse-moi le temps” in the XIV International Song Festival in Viña del Mar, Chile, where he finished 2nd and got the prize for the Best Singer. Some months later, Paul Anka bought the rights of the song from the authors (Michel Jourdan [fr]/Caravelli), and along with Sammy Cahn composed lyrics in English, giving it to Frank Sinatra, who made it famous all over the world as “Let Me Try Again” (from Ol’ Blue Eyes Is BackReprise Records, October 1973).

Lyrics written by PAUL ANKA and music written by Romuald & Caravelli (‘Laisse moi le temps’).

This song reached the second place at the International FESTIVAL Of VIÑA DEL MAR (CHILE) in 1972.

Then recorded and released by Frank Sinatra in 1973 , in his album “Ol’ Blue Eyes Back”.

Ol’ Blue Eyes Is Back is a 1973 studio album by American singer Frank Sinatra.

Sinatra returned from his brief retirement with Ol’ Blue Eyes Is Back. Released amidst a whirlwind of publicity, the album was a commercial success, earning gold status and peaking just outside the top-ten on the UK and Billboard album charts.

The album was accompanied by a television special, Magnavox Presents Frank Sinatra, which reunited Sinatra with Gene Kelly.

Genuine first pressings of the LP came with a bonus photo of Sinatra inside the cover.
